Try the following steps in order:
- Restart the phone and the vehicle's infotainment system.
- Check that Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, mobile data, Siri, and required permissions are enabled.
- Check the USB cable and try another compatible USB port if using a wired connection.
- Remove the saved vehicle or adapter from the phone and pair it again.
- Update the phone operating system, Google Play services, relevant apps, and vehicle software.
- If using a third-party adapter or smart screen, check for a firmware update from the manufacturer.
- Reset the adapter or smart screen and reconnect it if the problem continues.
- Contact the vehicle or device manufacturer if the issue began after a major system update.
Do not disconnect power or install firmware while an update is in progress.
