Will the display drain the motorcycle battery?

The display normally receives power from the motorcycle and does not rely on its own long-duration battery.
Battery drain can occur if the device remains powered after the ignition is switched off or if it is installed incorrectly. To reduce the risk:
- Use an ignition-switched or ACC power connection when possible.
- Use a compatible wiring kit with a fuse.
- Enable low-voltage protection if the product supports it.
- Turn off or disconnect the device before long-term storage.
- Check for standby power consumption if the motorcycle is not used regularly.
Low-voltage cutoff values vary by product and motorcycle electrical system. Refer to the product specifications rather than assuming a fixed voltage threshold.
