Available audio methods depend on the display and vehicle.
Bluetooth audio
  • The display or phone sends audio to the vehicle's Bluetooth system.
  • Select Bluetooth Audio as the source on the vehicle's infotainment system. Sound quality and support for steering-wheel controls depend on the vehicle, phone, and connection method.
AUX connection
  • Connect the display's audio output to the vehicle's AUX input using a compatible audio cable, and select AUX as the vehicle's audio source.
  • A wired AUX connection can provide a stable audio signal, but volume and track controls may need to be operated from the display or phone.
FM transmission
  • Some displays can transmit audio through an unused FM frequency. Set the display and vehicle radio to the same frequency.

  • FM performance may vary depending on local radio interference.
Built-in speaker
  • Some displays include a speaker for navigation prompts, calls, or media. The volume and sound quality are usually more limited than the vehicle's audio system.
